Friday night, 10th May, marked one of the highlights of St. Andrew’s Music Week 2019.
A packed church saw the fruits of days of hard work by the choir of St. Andrew’s and guests under the direction of the Director of Music, Earl Moffitt, and Facilitator, Dr. Joe McKee.
The change in emphasis away from purely sacred music to a mixture of sacred and secular, together with individual choral and instrumental pieces, delighted the choir, performers and audience.
A magnificent total of over TL8000 (updated figure as at 13th May!) was raised which will benefit both Tulips, the cancer support charity, and the Lefkoşia Women’s Refuge.
