St Andrew’s Church this week responded to a request from UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, for essential school equipment for 7 children living in the northern part of Cyprus, who have refugee backgrounds and whose families are unable to purchase the stationery supplies their children need for the start of the school year.
The stationery will be handed over on Saturday, in time to be distributed to the children before the academic year begins on Monday.
