What a pleasure to meet the Revd Dr Walter Brownridge and his wife Tina, from Vermont USA.
Dr Walter has been doing locum cover at St Paula’s Cathedral, Nicosia since early July.
He and Tina will be returning to their work in Vermont at the end of next week.
Canon Georgia Katsantonis brought Tina and Walter to Kyrenia, before heading to Bellapais and on to Famagusta.
Dr Walter and Fr Alec were delighted to discover they had much in common, including mutual friends in the Anglican Communion.

Rev’d Deborah Moorgas, priest at St Barnabas has thanked St Andrew’s for the money donated to help victims of the fires in the Limassol area.

St Andrew’s Church is delighted to welcome Ven Dr John Holdsworth, Canon Theologian and former Archdeacon of Cyprus, to celebrate and preach this coming Sunday.
Serving as Archdeacon from 2010 to 2019, John is a long-standing friend of St Andrew’s, who enjoys the opportunity to lead worship in Kyrenia when he is able to.
